An elopement can be simple without being small in meaning. It can include only the two of you or the people closest to you. It can happen in one day or unfold across a week. The point is not how it looks from the outside. The point is that it feels like yours.

Instead of building a day around convention, we begin with the two of you: what you enjoy, how you travel, which landscapes make you stop talking for a moment, who needs to be there and what you want to remember.
THE PROCESS

A season or a feeling is enough to begin. The practical detail comes next.

Send the first pieces
Names, a date or date range, a possible destination and whatever you already imagine. “Mountains, cool weather, just us” is a perfectly useful beginning.

Talk it through
We reply within 24 hours, send the relevant information and arrange a complimentary introductory call. We learn what matters to you and recommend photography, film or both.

Choose the place
If you already have a location, we examine how it works in real life. If not, we build a shortlist using landscape, privacy, accessibility, season, weather, light, permits and travel flow.

Design the day
We create the timeline, route and alternatives. We can recommend trusted local vendors and help you understand permits and logistics. Third-party bookings and fees remain separate unless your proposal specifically says otherwise.

Meet your creative team
You may request a team member, or we will match the right photographer, filmmaker or duo according to your coverage, destination and availability. Everyone works within the shared Unmapped Stories visual language.

Live it
On the day, we guide when guidance helps and disappear when the moment needs space. Weather changes, roads close and plans evolve. We arrive prepared to adapt without turning that into your problem.

Relive it
A selection of highlights arrives within a few days. Your complete gallery and/or cinematic film follows within three weeks.

GUESTS
Just you. A celebrant. Your closest people. All can work.
We do not define your elopement by a guest-count rule, and the number of guests does not change our package price.
It does change what is practical. Some remote or protected locations have limits, accessibility challenges or permit requirements. We will help you build a plan that protects both the experience and the place.
WEATHER
We do not promise perfect weather. We plan for a beautiful day anyway.
Wind, rain, fog and changing light are part of destination work. We research realistic conditions, create alternatives and leave enough flexibility to make good decisions.
Multi-day elopements offer the most freedom, but even a single-day experience includes a thoughtful weather plan.
